As a Research Analyst at The Plakhov Group, Thomas is currently contributing to the PG Daily Ops. He holds a BA (Honours) in History from Queen’s University and is pursuing an MA in U.S. Foreign Policy and National Security at American University’s School of International Service. He has previously interned with the Center for European Policy Analysis and is currently a Research Assistant at the Shahal M. Khan Cyber and Economic Security Institute in Washington, D.C.

His research interests include Russia’s evolving global alliances, transatlantic relations, and the global diffusion of advanced technologies.
